According to Met Office reports Stoke on Trent and the surrounding area is due more heavy rain.
A band of cloud and rain, heavy at times, will quickly clear northeastwards this evening. A brief drier interlude following overnight, before showers, heavy and possibly thundery, arrive from the south towards the end of the night, with stronger winds. Minimum temperature 13 °C.
Tuesday will see further heavy showers, with the risk of hail and thunder. The showers may merge to give some longer spells of rain at times, especially in the east. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
Wednesday to Friday will remain unsettled, with a mixture of sunshine and showers on Wednesday. Further rain will quickly spread eastwards on Thursday, followed by a mixture of sunshine and blustery showers on Friday.
