My Mother was devastated when she had to leave LHS in 1938 when it became all-boys and she had to go to Thistley Hough. She was delighted when I went to LHS in 1966. She later went to work at LHS and was on the governors for many years. She was Hazel Mullineux (nee Baggalley) and was a member of the Old Longtonians.

Hi Ann. I remember your Mother so fondly. She was a kind and lovely lady who on so many occasions started a conversation with me or one my friends. I do think of her from time to time for her invaluable advice and gentle manner.
