Met Office Issues Ice Warning For Wednesday 28th January 2026
The Met Office has issued a ice warning that covers most of the UK for Wednesday 28th January 2026 from midnight to apx 10am.
Tonight (Tuesday) will be turning chilly with patchy frost forming and a risk of patchy fog and icy stretches on untreated surfaces. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
On Wednesday any fog patches clearing mid to late-morning. Otherwise a much drier and brighter day with sunny spells. On Wednesday morning we can expect some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
Isolated showers possible. Feeling more pleasant too with light and variable winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
