Met Office issue thunderstorm warning for Friday and Saturday
The Met Office has issued yellow thunderstorm warnings for Friday and Saturday, signaling the end of our warm weather spell.
In addition to the threat of lightning, some areas in southern England and Wales may experience up to 50mm (2 inches) of rain, raising the risk of flooding and potential travel disruptions.
Thunderstorms will be scattered on both days, meaning some areas may avoid them entirely. However, where they do occur, rainfall could reach up to 50mm (2 inches).
