For tonight Sunday 24th January 2021 The Met Office has warned of “icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths”. Freezing fog lingers for a time in the north, though this should clear into the afternoon tomorrow to give a largely dry and sunny day. Cold, especially where any snow lies. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
But weather experts at WXCharts have predicted the West Midlands will be the hardest hit tonight (24-01-2021) (see snow tracker video below)
WXcharts says that just over four inches (11cm) of snow is forecast to fall on the West Midlands by 3am on Monday.
The snow and cold weather is set to continue throughout the week in many parts of Britain, with further snow expected in the North.
