Another Met Office fog warning issued for Monday and Tuesday

The Met Office has issued another fog warning for many parts of the UK for Monday 17th January 2022 and Tuesday 18th January 2022. The Staffordshire area is covered by this warning. The Met Office say that we will see a cold and frosty start for some on Monday, with any fog slowly clearing. Largely sunny for most with only a small amount of cloud around at times. Winds mostly light with temperatures around average for the time of year. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Dry overnight with any clear spells quickly filling in as mist and fog develops fairly widely, temperatures falling close to or slightly below freezing for many. Minimum temperature -2 °C.

On Tuesday we can expect a cold and frosty start with any fog slow to clear as sunny spells develop. Temperatures close the average for mid-January, but locally cold where fog persists. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
