A50 LED lighting upgrade scheme – Work from 18th October 2021

Until Wednesday 20th October 2021, they will be working between Trentham Lakes junction to Longton junction. A50 eastbound traffic will exit at Blurton roundabout then diverted north along the A50. Traffic will then turn left on to Kings Street before taking the third exit (right) heading north along Victoria Road. Traffic will then turn right onto the A52 and then turning right onto A5272 Bucknall Road, right onto Dividy Road (A5272) and right onto A520 to Meir roundabout.

From Wednesday 20 to Saturday 23 October, they will be working between Foley roundabout to Normacot junction. From Monday 25 to Thursday 28 October, we’ll be working between Normacot Junction to Meir Tunnel junction. A50 eastbound traffic will be turned around at Normacot RAB and diverted along A50 westbound and off at Herons Cross then diverted north along the A50. Traffic will then turn left on to Kings Street before taking the third exit (right) heading north along Victoria Road. Traffic will then turn right onto the A52 and then turning right onto A5272 Bucknall Road, right onto Dividy Road (A5272) and right onto A520 to Meir roundabout.
