Sub-zero temperatures and treacherous conditions on the way
The Met Office reports that temperatures could get as low as -10C in the Midlands, the rest of country will also see sub-zero weather.
It is expected that there will be icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths. Injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces may occur.
The outlook for tonight (25th January 20201) is dry with plenty of clear spells during the evening and the night across the region. Clouds developing during the early hours. Remaining cold and frosty. Minimum temperature -4 °C.
