Police Investigate Robbery At Hanley Newsagents

Police are investigating a robbery in Hanley where a woman in her eighties was pushed to the floor are appealing for information. 

At 6.30am this morning (Tuesday 3 September), a man entered AJ and J Newsagents on Lichfield Street and stole cash from the till and cigarettes. 

The offender is described as a white male, aged between 25 and 30, with a slight blonde mustache and wearing a black tracksuit. CCTV showed him entering the shop with a blue blanket wrapped around him and leaving the scene in the direction of Regent Road.
