Bad news for Tesco Clubcard users who fill up at Esso stations

Tesco has said there is some changes as to where you can collect Tesco Clubcard points on fuel. At the moment you can collect points at Tesco petrol stations and Esso petrol stations.

You can earn Tesco Clubcard points on fuel at all Tesco Petrol stations and all Esso petrol stations with a Tesco Express on site.

But from 1 June 2019, you’ll no longer be able to earn Clubcard points at Esso branded stations where there is no Tesco Express.

At a Tesco Petrol station it’s 1 point for every £2 you spend on fuel. At an Esso petrol station with a Tesco Express it’s 1 point for every £3 you spend on fuel. Until midnight 31st May 2019 you’ll still be able to redeem 1 point for every 2 litres of fuel you purchase at participating Esso branded stations.
