Armed Forces Day at Queens Park, Longton (28-06-2026)

The North Staffs Armed Forces and Veterans Celebration Day took place on Sunday 28th June 2026, at Queen’s Park in Stoke-on-Trent. It is one of the area’s largest annual events celebrating serving personnel, veterans, cadets, and military families.

Over 4,000 people, including Veterans from many services, regular service men and women and reserve forces get together to salute our Armed Forces, supported by cadets, many of whom will join the forces in the future .

Some of the VIP guests included The Lord Mayor of Stoke on Trent, The High Sheriff of Staffordshire , The Lord Lieutenant and Many Civic Representatives from across the Staffordshire area.

This event is held each year and there was a fun fair, stalls, live music and children’s entertainment during the day.

The event is organised by the North Staffordshire Armed Forces and Veterans Celebration Committee and the Queen’s Park Partnership.
