Man arrested after officers find cannabis cultivation in Newcastle-under-Lyme
A man has been arrested after Staffordshire Police found more than 180 cannabis plants inside an address in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Staffordshire Police acted on intelligence and forced entry into an address in Whitmore at 11.55am on Tuesday (15th November).
They found 182 mature cannabis plants inside five separate rooms which were seized along with growing equipment.
A 29-year-old man, from Merseyside, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B.
He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
