Seven Cheetah escooters worth £3,500 stolen in Hanley burglary

Officers from Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after seven escooters were reported stolen from a business property in Hanley on 16 January.

At some point between Sunday (9th January 2022) and Sunday (16th January 2022), offenders forced entry into a terraced business property on Hope Street.

Once inside, they have taken seven escooters – believed to be black framed with green lettering on the side, reading ‘Cheetah 0-60 in three seconds’.

A 61-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

He has since been released under investigation.

Anyone who may have been offered cheap escooters in the Hanley area or those who may have CCTV/dashcam footage of the area at the time of the incident are being urged to assist police with their enquiries.
