Cannisters worth £11,000 stolen from lorry at Stafford Services
Police are appealing for information after two pallets of nitrous oxide cannisters, worth £11,000, were stolen from a lorry.
Officers were called to Stafford Services on the M6 northbound at around 1.20am this morning (Friday 18th February) following reports of vehicle crime.
According to a witness, the offenders were seen loading the cannisters into the back of a white Ford Transit van, which was found abandoned in the Trentham area.
It is also reported the van was driven in convoy with a blue Ford Focus.
The Ford Focus was last seen heading southbound on the A500 at around 1.40am.
