Singing Emergency Dispatcher Aaron set to perform LIVE for the first time

A control room dispatcher with a passion for singing will be stepping on stage for his first ever live concert performance this July.

Aaron Wilkes, 38, from Stafford, first made headlines in September 2024 with the release of a powerful debut track ‘Stand Together’, an uplifting anthem about unity, resilience and hope. Written, composed and performed entirely by Aaron, the song was born from a difficult year of personal challenges and quickly led to him writing a follow up song in December called ‘The Adventure’.

Now, Aaron, is set to bring that same energy to a live audience on Saturday 19th July at Field Fest 2025 in Burton-on-Trent where he’ll be performing his first two songs as well as new material to raise money for The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and The Ambulance Staff Charity, which Aaron has already pledged 100% of all royalties from songs he releases.

Aaron has worked for West Midlands Ambulance Service for 18 years, balancing a high-pressure emergency control room role with his deep passion for music. What began as a private outlet for managing his own mental health challenges, his music has evolved into a mission to inspire and help others through both his lyrics and his charitable efforts.

“This journey has been overwhelming in the best way possible,” Aaron says. “I never imagined releasing songs, let alone performing it live. But music has helped me heal, and I hope by sharing it more openly, it can do the same for others.”

Fans can continue to support Aaron by streaming ‘Stand Together’, ‘The Adventure’ and new releases due out soon on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer and other major platforms. Every listen helps raise money for the charities close to Aaron’s heart.
