Just before the cosplay on the main stage a big thank you was given to all the volunteers at Stoke Con Trent, who give up there free time to assist with the event every 6 months.
A tribute was also paid to Mike Barnes after he lost his cancer battle earlier this year. Mike had been a volunteer at a number of Stoke Con Trent events in the past.
The tribute was made by Dan Maddox.
